Forum .htaccess Invalid Forum Specified Hello, When using Mod Rewrite Friendly URLs, I receive the following error: Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator I have put the .htaccess file in the forums directory. Threads rewrite fine, but forums do not. I *think* the issue is the path. Our forum is located here: http://www.scrapbookmax.com/forums/ The friendly url to one of our forums is http://www.scrapbookmax.com/forums/f...ate-Jan-4-2009 The .htaccess mod_rewrite line is RewriteRule ^forums/.* forumdisplay.php [QSA] Is it possible that because our forums are hosted at /forums and the friendly link is /forums/forums/blah (2 instances of /forums) AND because the mod_rewrite is rewriting any URL wiht forums in it? If so ... any suggestions for changing that mod_rewrite rule? Any input would be appreciated. We really would like to use SEO friendly links, and really do not want to rename our /forums/ folder. Thank you! Desmond. |
