ModSecurity snagging a vbulletin user.... How do I compensate for this person's username? It is MopàrBCN. The link is actually 'My Threads' for users to click on that allow them to find all the recent threads they have posted in. It is /forums/search.php?do=process&showposts=0&starteronly=0&ex actname=1&searchuser=YourUserName. It basically mimics the AdvancedSearch feature in vbulletin for usernames. The ModSecurity in WHM lists it as follows... Code: /forums/search.php?do=process&showposts=0&starteronly=0&ex actname=1&searchuser=MoprBCN HTTP/1.1 Access denied with code 406 (phase 2). Invalid UTF-8 encoding: invalid byte value in character at ARGS:searchuser. [offset "3"] [file "/usr/local/apache/conf/modsec2.user.conf"] [line "23"] [id "950801"] [msg "UTF8 Encoding Abuse Attack Attempt"] [severity "WARNING"] Thanks, Frank |
