Attachments not working properly after upgrading to 3.8.4 PL2
 

Hi,

Upgraded from 3.6.7PL1 to 3.8.4PL2... I took a backup of the current db.. then created a /forum3 and have 3.8.4 there pointing to the test db.

We have a mod in 3.6.7 which takes care of attachments of file types "torrent". Same changes made in class_dm_attachment.php file in 3.8.4... in

class vB_DataManager_Attachment_Filesystem extends vB_DataManager_Attachment
function pre_save($doquery = true)

at the end of it, before return parent::pre_save($doquery);
I have a function call to my torrent validation routine..

if( !parent::torrent_filedata($this->info['filedata']))

This routine returns a false... because the "$this->info['filedata']" is actually empty!!! I did a fast check in 3.6.7 code and found that "$this->info['filedata']" is NOT empty... and has full file data in it.

Any help on why the data is null here and where it is actually present, so that I can call my torrent validation function at that point.
