Forum non-logged-in users settings I would like to change the settings for 'Unregistered / Not Logged In' users, basically not give them any permissions -- not even to view forums and blogs. It seems that vBulletin won't let me simply change usergroup settings, instead it always creates a new custom usergroup with no users assigned to it and lets me edit those settings. In general it seems very cumbersome. If I just want to change one minor setting for a usergroup, I end up creating a duplicate usergroup that has the same name and I don't see any easy way to migrate all the users from the original usergroup to the modified version. In the specific case of 'Unregistered / Not Logged In', it seems hopeless, since there are no 'Users' to assign to the new custom usergroup and it doesn't seem to override the original usergroup. I must be missing something here. This can't be how it's supposed to work, can it? |
