We attempted to write a test file to ./forum/avatars
 

Verified through my host that the necessary folders are set to 777 and double checked the folders myself. When I try to set it back to folder storage I simply can't because of this error:

"We attempted to write a test file to ./forum/avatars, but we were unsuccessful. Please verify that the web server has write/delete permissions for this path."
