CMS Very suspicious of vB 4.00 PL1
 

I've read many of the threads and posts on here relating to issues with vB4 but must say I'm starting to become very suspicious of the standard and quality of this latest product.

I'm not one for dragging a software release through the mud but since I bought into the full product even before reading some of the early feedback I've found so far after only 2 days of usage, it does not live up to my expectations or have the stability I've appreciated with 3.8

I understand that this is a new version, but it's still PHP driven and as such I would have expected far greater improvements and flexibility.

To me, it's nowhere reliable enough to be called Gold and I consider myself fortunate to be able setup a demo server and have a play around.

From an out of the box experience it all looked good until I started changing things, this is where the product has failed big time for me.

With this is mind I will not be upgrading my live system because I have no confidence that what I tell the CMS to do, will actually happen.
