3.8.4PL2 posts require validation but permissions set to no moderation required???
 

vBulletin version 3.8.4 Patch Level 2
Installed 10th November 2009

Error

1. Had this problem a middle November and it resolved itself, now it's back again after uploading PL2 files, and at least 2 members have to have their posts validated, a message flashes up that the post has to be moderated before being posted. (their usergroup settings are no moderation required for posts).

The message the poster receives is:

Thank you for posting! Your post will not be visible until a moderator has approved it for posting. You will now be taken back to the forum. If you opted to post a poll, you will now be allowed to do so.

I've checked all forum and group permissions and nothings been altered.

2. Also all my members including me have to log in each time the forum is visited even after emptying cookies and cache and closing and reopening browsers. Happens in IE and FireFox.
