How do you now search for users posts?

I know you can do it via the users profile or their postbit, however the results no longer show a preview of their post and unless I missed something, all of the results only link to the start of the thread. So if the users post is reply #101, it will take a few er... minutes? to trawl through. Is this by design or just a bug?
