Forum Mod Rewrite Causes 500 Internal Sever Error
 

I am attempting to use the friendly url rewrites using the .htaccess file supplied with the installation, however it causes a 500 internal server error when it is uploaded. My forums are located in the root directory of my website. Any suggestions? The rewrite for my Photopost Gallery works fine, so mod rewrite is enabled.
