Suite Will this approach work???
 

I tried to apply the latest patches to my 3.8.1 and it's totally gone pear-shaped, first time in years I've had issues with upgrading.

So now I want to go to 4.0 Suite. Can someone please verify this process for me as I'm a little gunshy now...

I'm more than happy to essentially go with a clean install of vB4 and apply mods and style stuff over the next few weeks while she's running live, my users won't mind that at all.

- Disable/uninstall all modifications/plugins/products
- Back up Database and files
- Delete all vB files off server
- Upload 4.0 files
- Run upgrade script

Is that really all it will take?
