CMS No custom avatar thumbs
 

I'm using the Recent Comments widget in my CMS* but the avatar thumb is not displaying next to each 'recent comment'. Right now* the user's name is text and runs over into the comment. I checked the path to the avatar thumb on the server and the directory is empty. For some reason these are not being generated.

Do I have to manually generate these thumbs??
