Theme Newbie Help - Basics
Hello* Im relatively new to vB * and im in the process of styling a new 4.0 forum. Im just trying to wrap my head around how to theme system works * importing* exporting etc. - When I export and import a theme* theres just an XML file. Where is all the CSS and Images ?
- Under the style editor * often ill use Firebug to find what CSS class im after* often from vbulletin-chrome.css. but where is this file? Im used to having a directory* named after the theme that contains all the CSS and images* so its easy to backup and restore but im not sure how to do this now.
- If I edit* postbit templates* CSS and a bunch of other things* is that only specific to the custom skin im working on ? Will it get overwritten the next time vBulletin pushes out a patch that updates the default theme?
Anything else I should know ? |
