CMS Deleted articles & sections* now categories "stuck"
 

During the install* I chose the option to populate the CMS with test data. Having finished playing with it* I created my own sections and deleted the sections that were created upon install.

Unfortunately* the categories that were associated with those sections have remained behind and I can see no way to delete them. Clicking on one throws a database error:
