Suite _username and templates
 

Ok* just ran through a test upgrade from 3.84 to 4 and came across a few issues. I do have a custom style and a couple of plugins installed so I can dispense if required.

1. There is a stage where it details installing the default CMS but cannot find _username so I just continued. What is this and what is the remedy?

2. I went through the templates that required attention and simply pressed 'save'* should I have reverted?

3. when launching the testing forum from the CMS homepage http://server2008/forum.php
500 - Internal server error.

There is a problem with the resource you are looking for* and it cannot be displayed.

4. AdminCP works fine

Btw* I can run the upgrade again* not a problem but want to be prepared.
