Problem when upgraded from v3.8.4 level 1 to 3.8.4 level 2

First Iam arabian so soory for my english language.

I have download and install vBulletin forum v3.8.4 patch level 1 on my site befor the patch level released* and in my site i have integrated vBulletin forum with JOOMLA and i was success the inegration without any problems with v3.8.4 patch level 1.
when i upgrade to patch level 2 and upload the upgrade files i got a problem with dual login between vb and joomla

every thing OK except when im login from joomla it's dont log me in to the vBUlletin forum and i find the problem is in the functions.php file that i was uploaded. so i restore the old functions.php file to the includes folder and the problem was resolved!!

my question is: there is any problem if i stay the old functions.php file with the new upgraing files(class_dm* class_dm_user and version_vbulletin ??

and if there is any problem can i change any line in the new functios.php file to resolve the problem or any solution please ?
