doc_background affects the background color of the entire page* and I can put an image there as a background image. That's all good.

doc_backgroundColor affects nothing at all. In fact the description of it says "Changes the color and image of the page background." But first of all there is no image input field* therefore negating that part of the description. Secondly* entering a color has no effect.

It appears that doc_backgroundColor is a dead stylevar.
