Forum Parse error
 

I have upgraded my vb from 3.8.2 to 3.8.4
then when i tried to install 4.0 it give me this error:

Parse error: syntax error* unexpected T_STATIC* expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/includes/class_core.php on line 1380

I tried install.php it give me:

Parse error: syntax error* unexpected '{' in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/install/install.php on line 332

I disabled add-ons from config.sys
PHP version 5.2.5
MySQL version 4.1.22-standard

I need help. What shall I do?
