File permissions questions
 

Hello everyone*

I have a site where the files are not to be seen unless you are logged in. I have filecabinet setup as such so that the directory of files is only available if you are logged in and I can pin this link to the menu just fine. My question is how do you stop the user form accessing the file when not logged in if they have the link. So if they had mywesitename.com/files/filecabinet/folder6/Advisory_Board_Written_Report_November_2009.pdf[/url] they would get the 403 message when not logged in. Is there something built into filecabinet or is this a .htaccess function? If it is a .htaccess function is there a cookie you can use to limit the viewing using .htaccess? Thanks in advance.
