Odd "corruption" issue in Admin CP
 

I don;t actually knwo if this is a corruption issue or something else. I just updated to 3.8.4 PL2* then I went to check in the AdminCP to make sure everything was reporting correctly and across the top I see what looks like binary instead of the "You are running blah version* etc". I've attached a screenshot so you can see what I am seeing.

I tried to disable all plugins* but we really aren't running much (Google Analytics and a Random Image plugin is all) by putting define('DISABLE_HOOKS'* true); at teh top of my config file just after the opening php tag* I also ran the suspect file version tool and everythign came back fine.. I can't say 3.8.4 PL2 is what caused the problem since I haven't been in to my CP for quite some time. Anyone have any suggestions?
