Activity Streams
 

A few months ago* I suggested that vbulletin add activity streams that tells you when your friends updated or added information* like you would find on facebook. Jomsocial seems to have a nice implementation of this (screenshot included in my previous thread above.

I was reading the IP.Board 3.1.0 Development News and they have included a related feature where a users recent status updates and recent status actions are added to their user profile page.

I think the combination of these two are needed for the "Social Networking" aspects of the vbulletin platform.
