mod_evasive* how to install?
 

I'm trying to install mod_evasive* when getting output from phpinfo()* I see mod_evasive20 in the loaded modules* however* when executing ./test.pl provided within the tar file* I get HTTP/1.1 202 OK and I don't get forbidden (403)* So what I'm looking for is:

• a guide* how to install mod_evasive to apache2 (Ubuntu)* apt-get install libapache2-mod-evasive didn't work! (It installed it successfully* but didn't actually protect anything)* and yes* I restarted apache each time I installed or changed something.

• Can mod_evasive harm in any way to my SEO?
