forum links automatically created with each post no missing
 

We purchased a website last month using Vb2.3 We have since bought our own license and now brought in all the forum posts from 2003 to date into Vb3.84
What I noticed is previously* all posts created would always have an incremental suffix number
/forums/t6970.html

Now that we upgraded to Vb3.84* we no longer see those numbers and every post in the forums that directs users to to a previous link including all my photo contest announcements no longer work.
It's as if those /forums/t6970.html were changed by the upgrade.

Is there something we need to do or have turned back on that will make those available again?
This has broken all links to 7 years of weekly photo contests.
