Forum Deleting old scripts before upgrade
 

Since no plugins/add ons of any kind work from vB3.x* would it be better to wipe out the old scripts from the web server and copy the vB4 files into a clean directory* with the same structure and then running the upgrade script to upgrade the database?

Obviously any attachments and non-default graphics* etc would have to be backed up and replaced once the upgrade is complete.

Is that a prudent path to take for an upgrade?
