Forum upgrade to 4.0 issues
 

I downloaded the 4.0 forums* renamed the upload file* deleted the install.php file* and uploaded using SmartFTP all as per directions. When I go to the install/upgrade.php file* I get the following error message

Parse error: syntax error* unexpected T_STATIC* expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /usr2/home/singaporemaths.com/htdocs/forums/includes/class_core.php on line 1380

Help! I don't know what it means.
