CMS Why is body_wrapper background different on content.php
 

I have couple of questions which I really hope someone can answer for me. The first being far more important than the second/third are more about trying to save me a few days experimentation rather than an actual problem :)

1. Why is the body_wrapper div background only ~30px on content.php compared to on forum.php even though the div extends the same distance. (I've spent hours pouring over firebug and can't spot anything)
2. Is it possible to avoid the "Home > Home" breadcrumb on the CMS homepage? Or do I have to settle for "Home > Welcome" or suchlike?
3. How can I stop an article being displayed using the manual ordering? I want to stop information articles from being shown on the frontpage alongside the news articles which I want to show there.
