Email Notifications stopped and error when approving new users
 

Hi - several problems just showed up - but not sure how to troubleshoot them.

I'm running VB 3.8.3

1. Human Verification Image no longer works - was using GD but the images quit showing up
2. We no longer get email notifications of Private Messages* Reported Posts* or Subscription purchases
3. When I approve a member (Moderate users)* I get the following error - though the user does get approved.
sockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to tcp://smtp.kickrunners.com:25 (Connection refused) in [path]/includes/class_mail.php on line 635

If you can give me some suggestions on what to look for* I'd appreciate it.
