Is everything I have done for naught?

So I just found out VB4 is coming out in like a week or so* right. I just bought VB (the expensive one) for the first time and made my whole forums. Spent the last week for 5-6 hours a day on end customizing it* adding products* etc. Then I found out that youd have to undo everything and uninstall the products/plugins for the upgrade. I am so frustrated right now. Is VB4 worth it? What do I lose if I upgrade without uninstalling?
