I would like vB4 but what about all my plugins?

I was just about to order vB4 when i realized all my plugins would probebly fail* i have a a video-sharing script which works well with my vB3.8 (a custom job) and i have two "photoposts" which feed into my vB also* i wouldn't mind losing the odd plugin here & there* but my video section would most likely die or not work* so I'm put off* what did you do?

anyways let me know your thoughts* i like vB but because of all these changes and all of my customizations I've come to a point where i have to take another financial leap of faith and of course spend much more time integrating everything again etc etc etc - it's because of this i may just leave it* but should i?
