Photoeditor-like color / style management
 

If we compare the style editing with photo editing* web page style editing is still kind of at at the pixel by pixel editing level.

I hope that some time we will see style editors somewhat similar to photo editors. One could be able to select a color scheeme for the whole site* change contrast* intensity* edge enhace/dehance* sizes etc on a single page. Settings could be with "0-100%" type controlls and have an instant preview. An intelligent Autocorrect? Essentially* one would want to be able to set people who never saw a stylesheet to edit color and font scheemes in minutes* and still have good global controll of the apearance.

I guess that such a tool would also allow use of less inheritance in cascaded styles as the relationships could be handled by the user interface. This would mean more detail controll as well as global controll.

Further down the road: rag and drop layout editing* rulers for sizes* margins? Maybe in VB 6.0 :o
