Profile Fields - Show on Postbit or anywhere else

How can I show a custom profile field on Postbit (i.e User First Name)? Do I have to do a template edit again?
Shouldn't be on the Admin CP in the User Profile Field/Edit --> Checkbox that Enable / Disable the Show Profile Field in different positions?

Postbit: yes/no (at least do this for postbit - for me* that's what I need)
Profile (not in details - in the main profile page): Yes/No
etc (I Don't know where else should someone put a profile field): yes/no

I believe this is a Must Have for the Gold version.
