Thinking of buying vBulletin...Got some questions!
 

I am considering purchasing vBulletin 4.0 Publishing Suite because I wish to develop a community which has a website* forum* gallery and blog built in.

But i am curious as to how much this will cost me. I checked out the documentation on your site but i'm still puzzled. Here are some questions I have...

1. I take it since i'm new* I would need to buy a new licence which would cost me $235 dollars?

2. Now if I install the software myself* will this be the total cost for me and will 235 dollars give me the whole package* website* forum* blog* gallery etc etc?

3. Will I need to renew this licence every year so each year I need to pay $235 dollars?

4. Does purchasing this licence entitle me to a life-time of free forum upgrades and support etc?

5. The domain name I own which I wish to have Vbulletin installed into* all ready has an SMF forum and wordpress blog including a gallery installed (all seperate applications). Before installing Vbulletin will I need to delete my current forum and applications?

My main concern for no.5 is that I would like to transfer all my old forum and blog posts over to my new vBulletin board but if I have to delete my current forum etc before installing vBulletin then that wont be possible and means I'll lose months and years of forum posts and blog post submissions!!

6. Is there any other payments I should know about? I don't have much money to spend and vBulletin seems very expensive to me so i would be greatful to know the full cost of what i need to deal with?
