Session Timeout - define "inactive"
 

We currently have our session timeout set at 30 minutes. How does the software define "inactive". If a user is typing a thread in a forum* does the software recognize that as being "active"? In other words* if it takes the user more than 30 minutes to finish typing the thread* but they are typing fairly constantly for the whole 30 minutes* should the software see their session as timed out?
