User Interface Please add an "updated posts" button in navbar
 

This is a simple one. ;)

I visit dslreports.com on a regular basis and one feature they have that I've grown to love is that the navbar for logged in users has a button to Show New Posts and another button to Show updated threads that I posted / subscribed to.


We have the first already in the navbar with the "whats new?" button but we lack the second. This feature is already built into vbulletin (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/subscription.php) and its been around for ages but it's buried in a place where users won't intuitively find it.

For that reason* I think a link to subscription.php needs to be moved to the navbar because the name of the game is making content easily accessible and we really want users to go back to the threads they replied to so they will keep the conversations going. I believe it will increase the "stickyness" of our sites.

(Yes I know this is a simple tweak on our ends to do but its a usability item that I'd like to see on every forum I visit* not just the ones I run).
