Not using 'index.php' in main forum URL causing blank pages + permission problems
 

I'm having the following problem with my VBulletin installation:

http:///forums/index.php works whether logged in as Admin or when viewing as a guest.

With global hooks on:
Going to: http:///forums (where my VBulletin is installed) brings up a blank page while logged in as admin* and a 'please log in due to insufficient privileges' when viewing as a guest.

With global hooks off:
Going to: http:///forums as a guest still brings up the insufficient privileges page* but it brings up a VBulletin Message saying "No albums have been updated recently.".


I'm running VBulletin 3.8.4* VBaCMPS v.3.2.1 (although I'd view this as a VBulletin issue)* and VBSeo 3.3.0.
