One Big Archive For all Online Communities?
 

I have seen forums die out and it truly is sad.(I think that can be prevented if their is one place where people can come and find sites of common interest and stuff)

I had an idea of creating a website that allowed website owners to sign up and give some info about their site. (Type of site and a little msg and a banner button.)

The concept would be that it adds your site to the list and other forum users can find sites that share the same interest and add each others buttons to their forums.

The use of this would be that. The system would send newsletters (weekly/daily/whatever the user picked) About websites that share the same interest(Unless you also pick other categories you wish to be notified about) And in the email you receive their banner image in case you wish to become affiliates with them. And if you do you simply add the banner to your site and the system would notify the person who owns the banner with your own to see if they want to add you.
