Javascript Popups* Not A Web 2.0 Way Of Alerting Users

The javascript popups are definitely a thing of the past in this day and age and since vBulletin is trying to modernize why not change this?

The Rating and Reputation alerts can be better handled.

For the ratings instead of alerting a message why not just change the text 'Rate This Thread' with the image of the rate? For example if the user rates 5 stars then the text 'Rate This Thread' changes to the 5 star image.

The reputation drop down can be easily fitted with a Check image and on submit the image becomes visible.
