Better RSS syndication Management
 

Currently in VB 4* the only option for RSS syndication is on or off. This can be frustrating for some who do not want to syndicate everything on their site. Also* we cannot determine how much of each article* post* or blog entry is syndicated. Here is how it could be improved

1. The ability to designate how many characters are syndicated for each post /article.
2. Syndicate CMS section titles in RSS feeds. Currently* each CMS section has its own RSS feed* but they are all named the same. For example* let's say that your CMS's name is Ralphings and your CMS sections are named Section 1* Section 2* and Section 3. WIth the current version (RC2) the title for your entire CMS RSS feed is Ralphings . The title for your Section 1 feed is Ralphings* the RSS title for Section 2 is Ralphings* and so on. In order to make it as clearcut as possible for visitors who utilize RSS feeds* it would be appreciated if each feed were appropriately titled* i.e. Ralphings** Ralphings - Section 1* Ralphings - Section 2* etc.
3. Ability to shut off RSS syndication for certain forum categories* and certain CMS sections* determined by the admin.
4. Ability to have the syndicated content of each CMs article be determined by the [PRBREAK][/PRBREAK] tag. In other words* the text that is in the "preview" for each article would be what is sent in the RSS syndication. (this setting if implemented would override the setting from suggestion #1 )
