ImageMagick - convert: unable to open image I recently updated vB from 3.6 to 3.8 One of the reasons I update was to be able to resize uploaded images on the server side. I'm a windows developer and do not know much about linux. A friend set me up with a GENTOO server and it has been working great for 5 years. I do the minimum maintenance with emerge and the regular updates. I have read many other posts regarding ImageMagick problems and I think I've come as fas as I can on my own. I have the current version of PHP* Apache and ImageMagick (emerge --sync) I can use "/usr/bin/convert -version" and identify from the command line so I know where the binaries are installed and that they work. The ImageMagick binary path is set to /usr/bin/ in Image Options But when I try the test image I get the error Code: convert: unable to open image `PNG:/tmp/9922b444013fe2ff1f2339e394d952bb': No such file or directory. I also get the blank box with the red X on the ImageMagick option for Human Verification Manager. I know there must be a disconnection from PHP to ImageMagick or PNG but like I said my linux knowledge is limited. Any help is appreciated. Frank |
