New "Thread/Blog/Article" Option in main menu
 

Said I would create a separate thread for this.

I've found over the years that new users of vbulletin are often confused as to how to create a new thread on the forum* in that they don't realise you must go to a forum category and then click on the new thread button.

This led me to modifying and installing a plugin that shows "new thread" in the menu* which in turn beings a user to a new page where they select the forum category and then they are brought to the add thread page.

So I'm thinking that it would be a great idea to have this option in the main menu of vbulletin 4.x* with the menu option called "add new" or simply "add"

And when a user clicks on that menu option* they would see sub options along the likes of "new thread"* "new blog"* "new article" ( and maybe "new social group"* "new picture"* "new private message" etc...)

What do others think? I'd imagine it would be simple enough to achieve?
