I would like to describe a way to have more user friendly lightbox.
Right now when we click on the image attachment* the lightbox takes place and shows the image in a more beautiful way than just open it in a null white page. - a user sees an attachment in the post
- he clicks on the attachment
- the attachment shows up and the user sees the image
- Then the user point to the close button/link
- the image close and the user can continue reading the forum* etc.
- If the user click on the image the image open in a white page and if the image is big the user can see it in 1:1 dimensions
So far so good.
Here is my suggestion (the more user friendly approach). - a user sees an attachment in the post
- he clicks on the image attachment
- the attachment shows up and the user sees the image
- Then the user don't have to point to the close button/link. He just clicks on the image and the image shrinks down like before he clicked on the image attachment.
- the image close and the user can continue reading the forum* etc.
- If the user click on the image the image open like before and if he clicks again the image* the image close. (instead locating and clicking on the close button* the user can click anywhere on the image to close it)
- If the user want to view the image in full size 1:1 when he have opened the image* he can click on a new special button for full size in the upper right corner of the lightbox (the known one that include just a white page with the image).
That approach I believe is a more user friendly approach and/or have some kind of better "game play" with the experience of using the vbulletin user interface for viewing images and also is faster and easier for the user to do it. |
