Vb Blogs Subdomains/Urls/SEO etc

Apologies if this has been asked/answered before.

With the new V4 publishing suite* I am wondering if it is possible to do the following with the blogs:

1. Set up the blogs to appear as... www.mysite.com/blogs/john
   
   or
2. blogs.mysite.com/john

I have seen the first option done using Vb 3.x and Vb blogs and I am wondering if it can be done with Vb4 either as a standard feature or as part of VbSEO?

I think this is vital for a number of reasons.
