Top 3 SEO hacks for VB without VBSEO?
 

I'm hesitant to buy vbseo though I believe it'd come out great for the rankings of my vb forum* but the pricing just doesn't seem compelling enough* at least for me right now. I'm also concerned about all the hassles in upgrading vb after using it.

So I'm thinking maybe there are somethings I can do to improve the SEO of my new vb forum without vbseo? What are your suggestions? I'm a firm believer of the 20 / 80 theory. I don't need it perfect. A few small tricks should make it much better than the inherent vb SEO structure* though not as good as that done by vbseo.
