Removing options from Search drop-down box on nav bar
 

Hi.

How may I remove options from this drop-down box:

I want to keep only "Tag Search" and "Advanced Search." Also* though I shall probably keep it* may I also be informed of how to remove the check-box options "Show Threads" and "Show Posts." If these options are specific to the particular template that screen shot was taken from* sorry in advance* as I am using purchased templates.
