Question about modifying vBulletin CMS About 2 years ago I bought a vBulletin license for what should have become my website. Due to circumstances unforeseen* I wasn't able to launch it and now I want to try it again. For the past months I have worked with a coder who would code me a website with a nice CMS which works together with the vBulletin forums* based on Joomla (site-wide login* replies on articles etc.) It didn't work out* and now I am looking to do it all by myself* or atleast mainly by myself. I know how to design a website* but I am not really experienced coding websites. Now that I'm looking to buy the vBulletin CMS and build my site with it* I am unsure about if it actually can live up to my expectations. The way I picture my website is a bit like this: http://i50.tinypic.com/2rn7r7m.jpg On the screenshots I have seen from the CMS* the structure is always a bit the same. I have not seen something like the little picture (with a flash image and then some headlines next to it). How hard is it to change the structure of the site like this? Can somebody give me an explanation about changing the way the site is set up? |
