RSS FEED should not follow only the UNREGISTERED USERS permissions Hi * As of today* if you have a board and want to have RSS* you just have to enable the RSS SYNDICATION. The RSS FEED follows the permissions of unregistered/not logged in users. The thing is if you have a forum where you do NOT want unregistered/not logged in users to read posts* you need to change the permission of this group. if you do that* it impacts the whole RSS system of the board* where registered users/logged in can't use the RSS feed anymore. I think this is a bad behavior* and that RSS feed should be manageable "per group". Therefore* an option should be present under every group permission which is created for example* and say "Authorized to read RSS feeds?" with a boolean option yes/no If the group is authorized* then RSS should work If it's not* then it should not work Let me know what you think ! |
