How easy is to convert phpbb3 to vbulletin?

I have an established forum and really do want to move to vB but do not want to go through the whole sorry folks you are going to have re register again and copy and post over threads etc.

I have done all my own coding and added a few mods in the past but am not so sure I could do the importing without an idiots guide.

Could anyone who has made the move or knows what it involves leave me some kinda heads up of what to expect please? ;)

PS I host with BT* not sure if that makes a difference but you never know.
