Cannot edit newreply template "Internal Server Error"
 

I am trying to change the newreply template to have the include signature option not checked. I tried disabling all plugins installed (only 5) and creating a brand new template and then editing that and it still gives me the same error. I searched around and found a suggestion about disabling a security feature via htaccess but that didn't help either. Any clue what this is or how to start tracking it down? We just graded from 2.3.4 to 3.8.4 p1. I am fairly new to digging this deep into vBulletin so be gentle.
