[User Interface/Style issues] Please remove the [Infractions] tab from User Profile Recently I have received my first ever infraction overhere (since 2001)* because I questioned why a specific thread was deleted/removed from the Licenced Customer Feedback forum. I won't argue over this moderator action* because well... that would costs me yet another infraction I am afraid in these days overhere at IB's vBulletin. And the above introduction is where the problems lies for me: I do not want to be reminded of which infractions I have received everytime I check my profile! Why do I need to have this [Tab] overhere: Attachment 38746 ... if I can also view my infractions in my Settings: Attachment 38747 Isn't this a repeat of information? The [Infractions] Tab in the User Profile is not only redundant* but it also something that makes a user not very welcome* is it? A user's own profile is often viewed by themselves... do we really need to be confronted with the fact that we received Infractions everytime we visit our own Profile? Yes* I know we first need to click on the [Infractions] Tab* but the point is... it shouldn't visibly be there in the first place. If we need to pay for driving too fast or something* do we really want to be reminded of those past mistakes everytime we open our driving license? I even noticed that Infractions are displayed in the postbit in vBulletin 4! Why?!! I am sure it will make my members not very comfortable to see their infractions published in their personal profile and postbit really. Please remove them from those areas in beta5 and just stick to the place where they belong and are already available: in the Settings. Attached Images |
