Administrator can't save style edits in Style Manager
 

I'm trying to edit some custom styles created by another administrator on our site who has since stepped down* and the Style Manager is not letting me save anything I edit. When I click the save button* it just sits there loading until it eventually times out* and none of my edits are saved.

I'm the super adminstrator according to config.php -- how can I not have permission to edit styles? More importantly* how do I get said permission?
