How to restore the default template (without deleting a customized one)?
 

I created a customized (Forumhome) template. Now in the template history I got both: the default one and the customized one (the latter is the active now).
How can I switch to the default one (setting it again as "active")* without manually copying the original code in the customized template* or clicking the "revert" button in the Style Manager (by reverting to the default one* it seems that I permanently delete the customized template)? In a few words I would like to switch (the active status) between the templates.
Is there a way by which I can put a reminder comment in the customized template* without creating a further template in the "history"?
